SNYP (Spay/Neuter Your Pet) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. We provide the community with information on all known low-cost spay/neuter programs within Jackson County. In addition SNYP provides a subsidized spay/neuter program for people who otherwise could not afford to have their pets altered.
The SNYP need-based subsidy program is made possible only through the participation of a number of dedicated veterinary offices in the Rogue Valley who provide their services to SNYP's need-based clientele.
In addition, SNYP organizes seasonal campaigns such as our February and October "Prevent a Litter" Campaigns. These seasonal campaigns have been created to help curb the damage done during the spring, summer and fall breeding seasons and are available to anyone in Jackson County. To make the campaigns as convenient for the general public as possible, the special discount certificates are sold at local pet stores and animal shelters. The special spay/neuter certificates are redeemable at any of the participating veterinary offices listed on the back of each certificate. All appointments must be made during the campaign month.
SNYP also creates special programs for specific members of our community these include SNYP's SAV Program (Special Assistance Voucher Program) for low income pet owners, and the Feral Cat Program.
